El Salvador offers troops for Katrina aid

Salvadoran papers report that the National Assembly passed a measure Wednesday night recommending that the government send a contingent of troops to the region affected by Hurricane Katrina. The troops would work on rescue and reconstruction projects.

To the government of El Salvador: Stop kissing Bush's ass. He's an idiot who doesn't really care about you. If you want to really help - reduce the smog in San Salvador and try improving your sanitation. Send your troops to take back your cathedral instead of to New Orleans.
